Hi there! Thank you so much for visiting our website. My name is Katie, and I’m the face behind You Glow Girl Knox. I hope it’s okay if I tell you a little about what has led me to purse a career in the sunless industry.

 

From middle school through college, I laid in the tanning bed 4-5 times a week, and did a ton of damage to my skin. I’m currently paying a lot of money to reverse the damage! Being tan always made me feel better and it became an obsession. I was always dark even though I have very fair skin.

 

Soon after my first skin cancer scare in my mid 20’s, I started using sunless products and spray tanning in a booth. There probably isn’t a product out there that I haven’t tried! Some weeks my color would be great, and other times, I would look slightly orange and my tan would be uneven. I just got tired of the inconsistency and buying products that didn’t work and would go to waste.

 

I received my first custom airbrush tan several years ago, and I was hooked! The color was even, the tan lasted longer, and I felt like it was truly customized for the occasion and my skin tone. More importantly, I wasn’t orange, and my hands and feet didn’t look like I dipped them in a can of rust-colored paint!

 

I bought my first gun in 2018 and started playing around with solution. As someone who has always been into health and fitness, I decided to use the most natural, high-end solutions I could find, regardless of cost. I started to educate myself, and that’s when my small business was born. Now, I have a great team of like-minded women who want to make you feel as beautiful as I do!
